Residential Cleaning Questions

How often should I schedule house cleaning?

Regular cleaning is typically done weekly, biweekly, or monthly depending on your household size, pets, and lifestyle needs.

What's included in a standard house cleaning?

Standard cleaning includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom sanitizing, and wiping down surfaces throughout your home.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No, many clients provide a key or access code. We just need entry instructions beforehand so our team can work efficiently.

What about pets in the home?

Please secure pets in a separate room during cleaning. Let us know in advance so we can send a team member comfortable with animals.

Do you clean apartments with building access rules?

Yes, we work with your building’s access requirements. Just provide any entry instructions or codes when booking.

Do you clean windows in apartments?

We clean interior windows as part of apartment cleaning. Exterior windows may have building restrictions we can discuss upfront.

Can you work around my schedule?

Absolutely. We offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends to accommodate renters with busy lives.

Do you move furniture in small apartments?

We move lightweight furniture to clean underneath. For heavy items, we clean around them unless you prefer to move them beforehand.

What's the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?

Deep cleaning targets built-up grime in hard-to-reach areas like baseboards, inside appliances, ceiling fans, and blinds that regular cleaning doesn’t cover.

How often should I get a deep cleaning?

Most homes benefit from deep cleaning every 3 to 6 months, or at least once or twice per year depending on household activity.

Do you clean inside appliances during deep cleaning?

Yes, deep cleaning includes inside the oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher unless you request otherwise.

How long does a deep cleaning take?

A typical 2-bedroom home takes 4 to 6 hours with a two-person crew, depending on the home’s condition and size.

When should I schedule move-out cleaning?

Schedule your cleaning 1 to 3 days before your final walkthrough so carpets are dry and everything stays fresh for inspection.

Will move-out cleaning help get my deposit back?

Yes, professionally cleaned carpets and surfaces make a huge difference. Most property managers include cleanliness in their inspection checklist.

What's included in move-out cleaning?

We clean inside cabinets, drawers, closets, oven, fridge, and behind lightweight appliances. Everything gets sanitized from top to bottom.

Do you clean walls during move-out?

We spot-wash smudges within reach. Full wall washing is a separate service, so let us know if you need that quoted.

Specialized Cleaning Questions

How soon after my event can you clean?

We can start immediately after your event ends or schedule for early the next morning. Same-night service is available upon request.

Do you handle kitchen and food cleanup?

Yes, we clean kitchen surfaces, load and run dishwashers, wipe down counters, and remove all trash and food waste from the space.

Will you rearrange furniture after the event?

We return furniture to its original layout, sweep or mop floors, and ensure the space is clean and ready for normal use.

What about decorations and leftover items?

We remove general trash and debris. For large decorations, rented items, or personal belongings, we recommend having the event host handle those.

What's the difference between rough and final construction cleaning?

Rough cleaning removes debris during construction. Final cleaning is the deep detail clean after all work is done, including dust removal from every surface.

Do you clean windows after construction?

We remove loose debris and trash. For large dumpster loads or heavy materials, we recommend coordinating with your contractor beforehand.

Do you clean outside business hours?

What high-touch areas do you sanitize?

We disinfect door handles, light switches, keyboards, phones, breakroom counters, and all shared surfaces to reduce germ spread.

Do you empty trash and recycling?

Yes, we empty all bins, replace liners, and ensure breakrooms and common areas stay fresh and clutter free.

Can we customize what gets cleaned each visit?

Absolutely. We create a custom checklist based on your office layout and specific needs, whether daily, weekly, or biweekly.

What's included in your post-construction cleaning?

Our post-construction cleaning removes all traces of renovation work. We clear fine dust from every surface including walls, ceilings, and light fixtures. We clean windows and sills, wipe down baseboards and trim, vacuum thoroughly with specialized equipment, and ensure no construction residue remains before you move in.

When should I schedule post-construction cleaning?

You should schedule your cleaning after all construction work is completely finished. This includes after flooring is installed, painting is done, and final touches are complete. We’ll come in and remove all the dust and debris so your newly renovated space is ready to enjoy.

Do you clean windows after construction?

Yes we do. Construction often leaves dust, paint splatters, and adhesive residue on windows. We clean all interior windows and sills thoroughly so your new space has that fresh, finished look.

Is post-construction cleaning more expensive than regular cleaning?

Post-construction cleaning requires specialized equipment, extra labor, and more time due to the fine dust and debris left behind. Because of this, pricing reflects the additional effort involved. We always provide transparent, upfront quotes so you know exactly what to expect with no surprises.
